I am in the coursework phase of my program and have passed Portfolios I and II.
This semester, I am taking my final two courses:
EDRS 814: Anti-Colonial Methodologies
HE 897: Librarians' Engagement in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (directed reading)
I also expect to complete Portfolio III (equivalent of qualifying/comprehensive exam) this semester.
In the spring, I am planning to defend my dissertation proposal, advance to candidacy, and formally enter the dissertation writing process.
I plan to defend my dissertation proposal and advance to candidacy in early 2026. I currently intend on completing a three-manuscript dissertation, which brings together three related pieces of work into one cohesive whole. My research surrounds librarians' engagement with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), librarian-faculty partnership, and librarian teacher identity.
